We are a team of 8 physicians practicing family medicine in the beautiful Haliburton and Minden area. We provide comprehensive primary care to enrolled patients of the FHO as well as affiliated, unaffiliated and visiting patients on a fee-for-service basis.
We have an urgent need for 5 more primary care physicians.
We are looking for physicians who are interested in working with a supportive and collaborative team. We are a teaching site and accommodate residents from Queen’s, U of T and others.
We are affiliated and work collaboratively with allied health professionals (HHFHT) which include: RNs, Dietician, Social Worker, NP, and Chiropodist to ensure patients receive the right care from the right professional.
Extensive business and administrative support for referrals, scheduling, billing etc so you can focus on your patients!
We use Telus PS EMR.
The current roster is 10,300 patients with 1,450 on the waiting list.
Compensation is based on a blended capitation model as a physician belonging to a FHO with a competitive split.
Several of our physicians also staff our local ER, in-patient unit, LTC and provide palliative patient care. You have the option to structure your practice as you choose.
A benefit package is available through SunLife. Physicians are entitled to four weeks of vacation/year, and there is flexibility if more is needed.
